Pregnancy massage is tailored to your stage of pregnancy and what you need—whether that’s general relaxation or focused relief. Some areas, like the abdomen and lower back, are avoided for safety, and positioning is adjusted for your comfort. In the first trimester, we focus on what feels best for you. In the second and third trimesters, side-lying or a supported seated position is typically used to keep you comfortable and safe. I have a comfy massage table with extra cushy pillows—one for your neck, a huggy pillow to support your arms, and another between your legs for proper alignment. If side-lying isn’t your preference, you also have the option to sit up in a reclined position. Your comfort is the priority.
