Hydrotherapy in massage helps calm the nervous system, offering relief through the soothing effects of heat and cold.
I use a mix of hot/warm and cold/cool hydrotherapy depending on where you’re at with your pain, whether it’s acute or chronic. The warmth from the heated stones, table, and weighted pads helps loosen the tissue and ease it into treatment.
Cold gel packs and towels are applied to calm inflammation and soothe your body, especially after deeper work. The combination of hot and cold creates a “vascular flush,” helping draw out pain and reduce swelling.
While you're face down, I use a steam bath under your face to relieve sinus pressure. Afterward, when you turn over, I adjust the table to a partially reclined position to help ease a stuffy nose and increase your comfort.
Everything is tailored to your unique pain and needs, with regular check-ins to make sure the treatment is safe, gentle, and effective. More support is available if needed to further aid your healing process.
