Massage pressure matters, and jumping straight to deep tissue isn’t always helpful. Each depth of pressure offers different benefits, and I make sure to adjust to what your body needs.
Light Pressure – Ideal for chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, or when you just need something gentle. It still improves circulation, relieves tension, and creates space for relaxation—perfect if you want something easy on your body.
Light-Medium Pressure – A little deeper as I work in flow. Great if you want tension relief without feeling like you’re being worked over.
Medium-Deep Pressure – More focused and intentional, but still within your comfort zone. I work layer by layer, easing in so your muscles actually respond (instead of just bracing against pressure).
What are the benefits?
- Warming up the tissue slowly promotes healthy healing and helps prevent injury.
- Increases circulation, which is key for relieving knots—especially when starting with the superficial layers.
- Safe and effective for reducing tension, working layer by layer for the best results.
- Helps your body respond rather than brace, making the treatment more effective and comfortable.
